I am a doctoral student in pure mathematics at the University of Hamburg, Germany. My PhD advisers are Nathan Bowler (University of Hamburg) and Jean-Simon Pacaud Lemay (Macquarie University, Sydney).
My research focuses on formal category theory and its interactions with other areas of mathematics and theoretical computer science.
I am particularly interested in:
Formal category theory
Categorical foundations of theoretical computer science
Virtual and weak double categories
Monoidal structures
Monads and relative monads
Enriched and locally graded categories
Connections to graph theory
Compact closed virtual equipments, joint with Nathanael Arkor
Mixed distributive laws for relative monads and comonads, joint with Jean-Simon Pacaud Lemay
Para construction for locally graded categories
Structured decompositions of persistent narratives, joint with Benjamin Merlin Bumpus
Homotopy theory of graph-like structures, joint with Laura Scull
